"Nice chart on the top 10 items in US Imports from China that will move today from 10% to 25%, mainly about Consumer Discretionary Items. Two options, either Corporate America Profits will compress or they will pass the increase to the Consumer - neither option looks to me very beneficial for the US."  Response:
  • The tariff increase is on the base cost of the item, not the final price to the end buyer.
  • The top three will affect a combination of consumers and businesses.  
  • Expansion of US producers and startups will effect many industries and pocketbooks, and include workers, who will then buy more, etc, increase production scale and efficiency, and increase US tax income, reducing national debt (a bit).

  4. Transition to your business full time, and partner/help other entrepreneurs; 
  5. Travel, build on everything you have and enjoy the next 30-40 years financially independent.
